United Healthcare – Black Movie Classic Series
United Healthcare teamed with Howard Theatre to offer Medicare education seminars as a part of the ‘Black Classic Cinema Series,’ a monthly program showcasing classic black cinema specifically for the senior population.
In recognition of June’s Black Music Month, the campaign kicked off in Washington, D.C. at the Howard Theatre and Charlotte, N.C. at the Harvey B. Gantt Center. The program reaches over 300 seniors per event and has received awards from the Department of Aging for it’s innovate marketing strategy to educate seniors on Medicare. Last year United Healthcare Medicare & Retirement received three Clear Mark Awards from the Center for Plain Language for its consumer-friendly Medicare information materials. According to the Center for Plain Language, the Clear Mark awards honor the best in clear communication and plain language for documents and websites.
